The room at Gottfried - Essen Trinken Schlafen was spacious and well laid out. The separate toilet and shower were convenient. The bed was large and comfortable. The location was excellent, being close to major transportation and in the heart of the city.

gottfried exceeded expectations with a spacious and modern suite, friendly staff, and a convenient location near the danube and museums. the upgraded room with a separate sitting area and large tv was a nice touch. despite no air conditioning, the fan provided relief.

We had a fantastic stay in this centrally located hotel. It was right in the heart of town, just steps away from the main square and the beautiful Danube river. the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. the bathroom was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. the service was friendly and efficient, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Although there was no breakfast on-site, there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to satisfy our cravings.

The lack of free parking available. Public parking was an option, but it came at an additional cost of 20 euros per day.

The room had a private bathroom with a shower, which was really convenient for us with the kids. We loved the double room with a balcony facing the inner courtyard. It was nice to have a little outdoor space to enjoy. The flat-screen TV with Sky Channels in all the rooms was a great bonus. The kids were able to watch their favorite shows during our stay. Having a coffee machine in the room was a lifesaver for us parents. We could enjoy a cup of coffee in the comfort of our own room.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the minibar in the double room. It occupied some space that could have been used for other things.

The temperature control in the rooms was not satisfactory, as the room was extremely hot and adjusting the temperature did not help. Another inconvenience was that the lights had to be turned off individually, which was a hassle.
